Rekortan is manufactured in the USA, Australia and Germany in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 5001 factories. Rekortan is the only track made in three continents to these highest standards.

Rekortan Gel tracks reduce stress on the environment & the athlete:

• Gel layer has up to 84% renewable (plant-based oils) and recyclable content

• Made with proprietary enzyme process, this greatly reduces electricity, final waste is environmentally friendly ceramic pellets

• Retains +95% of force reduction over 10 years, re-top the track for an extended life

• The Gel, as a liquid inside a solid matrix, delivers more stable force reduction over wider temperature range, which enhances the athlete experience

Rekortan Gel series is available as a G13 (13mm) and G10 (10mm), 2-layer full pour system.

• Single Gel layer, rather than traditional two layer polyurethane systems, enhances installation time

• Gel layer is 80% gel with 20% rubber granules, this delivers superior strength compared to traditional 60/40 mix

• Top layer is EPDM rubber (4mm)

World Athletics (WA) Certified

Rekortan G13 is WA certified. Class 1 Gel tracks are installed in Christchurch, New Zealand and Adelaide, Australia.

To achieve their required force reduction, World Athletics requires tracks to be 13mm. This is based on old technology. Due to Gel’s superior performance the Rekortan G10 (10mm system) achieves the WA force reduction requirements with a thinner layer than is the industry norm, and that WA allows. This shows the superior performance of the Rekortan Gel technology compared to pervious technology.

Trusted by major events around the world, such as the Penn Relays (USA), the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, and the Diamond League (Qatar), this proven series is offered in three different systems; M99, PUR and PUR E.

These 15mm, impermeable full PUR (full-pour polyurethane) systems feature 3 specialized layers - 2 layers of polyurethane and rubber granules (PUR) with a durable wear layer. M99 features a unique micro-foam force reduction layer for optimized energy return.

Rekortan M is World Athletics’ most certified track and is chosen by some of the world’s biggest stadiums. The system is ideal for competition and training.

Rekortan M is an impermeable sandwich system with a durable wear layer and a sealed paved-in-place base layer.

Rekortan M Indoor complies with strict emission limits for interior spaces, making it ideal for athletics halls. In contrast to Rekortan M, the structure of the indoor version features EDPM rubber granules.

Rekortan Basemat Series is a high-quality, entry-level track with good force reduction. Proven over thousands of tracks, they are ideal for regional stadiums, schools, community & multipurpose venues.

This series offers three different systems, B, BS and BSS. Each system has a single layer, 13mm paved-in-place base layer.

Rekortan B is smart entry level track. The strong SBR & polyurethane base is good to run on, and can later be enhanced with the wear layer as your budget allows. This gives multiple advantages over traditional Latex options.

Rekortan BS is a permeable spray coat system. Rekortan BSS is an impermeable spray coat system.

Re-surfacing can be a smart decision. It maximizes the original investment by extending the life the existing track. The renewed flexibility improves performance and athlete welfare, and longevity is best for the environment.

Rekortan tracks are successfully re-surfaced around the world. The Manchester Arena, UK and Alexander Stadium in Birmingham, UK were re-surfaced with both venues being World Athletics certified and used for Diamond League and elite events.
