Alpine mountains, lakes and Chili Red
A sports facility transformed by Polytan with Rekortan.
Constance (Konstanz) in southern Germany sits on the western end of Lake Constance (Bodensee), where the Rhine River flows out of the lake.
On the edge of the river, with a truly spectacular setting, is the Schänzle sports facility which recently had a full refurbishment with Polytan providing a new Rekortan track and basketball court.
Rekortan M in vibrant Chilli Red
The Rekortan M track was installed in a vibrant Chilli Red which brings the track to life amongst the blue of the water, the green of the landscape and the white of the snow-capped Alpes in the distance.
With an excellent combination of force reduction and energy, plus proven longevity, Rekortan M is the most World Athletics certified track in the world. It is ideal for both competitive and school sport.
Surfaces designed for all conditions
Additional areas of the track feature Rekortan AS GT, a water-permeable surface that ensures reliable performance in all weather conditions. The javelin runway is Chilli Red, while the long jump runway was finished in Sky Blue.

A community asset brought to life
Congratulations to Polytan and the town of Constance for this project. Modern sports facilities are more than just places to exercise; when thoughtfully designed as vibrant, welcoming and visually exciting spaces, they become powerful magnets that draw people in and actively inspire them to get involved in sport.
